2. ELIGIBILITY: Myexcusedabsence.com /Web Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") is open to legal residents of the 50 U.S. & D.C., 18 or older at the time of entry. Void where prohibited by law. Employees of the Sponsor (as defined below) & their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees, distributors, dealers, retailers, printers, advertising & promotion agencies, & any & all other companies associated with Sweepstakes (collectively, "Sweepstake Entities"), & immediate family members (parent, spouse, child & sibling & their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) & those living in same household, whether or not related, of any of the above, are not eligible. Subject to all applicable federal, state, local laws & regulations. By participating, you agree to these Official Rules & decisions of Sponsor, which are final & binding in all respects.

4. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: Sweepstakes begins 11-12-07 at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time (ET). A new winner will be drawn for every 50,000 entrants; the frequency of drawings is wholly dependent on the rate of entrants.

LIMIT ONE ENTRY PER PERSON/EMAIL ADDRESS/POSTAL ADDRESS, EXCEPT FOR PAYPAL CONTENT PURCHASES WHICH PROVIDE YOU WITH AN ENTRY EACH TIME YOU PURCHASE CONTENT FOR THE SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD. Sweepstakes Entities assume no responsibility for lost, late, incomplete, stolen or misdirected entries, email or mail; or for any computer, telephone, wireless, cable, network, satellite, electronic or Internet hardware or software malfunctions, failures, connections, availability or garbled or jumbled, lost, delayed or dropped transmissions, or service provider/Internet/web site/use net/ accessibility or availability, traffic congestion, or unauthorized human intervention or the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry or other information or the failure to capture, or loss of, any such information or for any other errors or problems of any kind relating to or in connection with the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, any errors or problems which may occur in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prizes or in any Sweepstakes-related materials.
 

6. PRIZE: One (1) GRAND PRIZE consisting of a dream vacation solely chosen by the winner. Sponsor will play no role in selecting the vacation and expressly disclaims any and all liability related to the vacation . Upon winning the prize, the winner shall select the vacation choosing and furnish Sponsor with an estimated cost. Sponsor shall then render payment up to the sum of $6,000.00 for the vacation directly to the winner. The prize is capped at a value of $6,000.00 and Sponsor shall make no payments in excess of this sum. If the cost of the vacation is less than $6,000.00, Sponsor shall pay only that lower sum. The winner shall be responsible for all transaction costs related to the payment from Sponsor to the winner. If the winner does not want the vacation, the winner may instead elect to receive a cash prize of $2,500.00.
All prize details shall be at Sponsor's sole discretion. Prizes are awarded "as is" with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by Sponsor. Winners are responsible for paying all costs & expenses related to prize acceptance and use not specifically mentioned herein as being provided. No cash or other prize substitution except by Sponsor who reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable or greater value, at its discretion. Prize is fully transferable to a person chosen by the winner.
 

7. ODDS OF WINNING: Odds of winning are approximately 1 out of 50,000.
 

8. DRAWING: One (1) potential winners will be selected at or when Sponsor receives 50,000 entries. Winner will be selected by random drawing from all eligible entries received under the supervision of the Sponsor. Potential winners will be notified by phone call, email, regular mail within approximately 72 hours of the drawing, dependent upon method of entry. Potential winners may be required to complete, execute, & return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release &, where lawful a Publicity Release, & a W-9 Form within ten (10) days of date of notification. Failure to do so, or if prize notification or prize is returned as non-deliverable, or if winner is found to be ineligible, or not in compliance with these Official Rules, disqualification will result & an alternate winner selected at Sponsor's discretion. Where permitted by law, each winner grants to Sponsor (& agree to confirm that grant in writing) & those acting pursuant to Sponsor's authority, the right to use in any and all media now known or hereafter devised the winner's name, city and state of residence, voice, likeness & biographical information for advertising, trade & promotional purposes without additional consideration, & without notification, approval or review.
 

9. GENERAL CONDITIONS: By participating, participants release & agree to hold harmless Sweepstakes Entities & their respective directors, officers, employees, representatives & agents (collectively, "Released Parties") from any & all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind to person, including death, & property, arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize, participation in any Sweepstakes related activity, or participation in Sweepstakes.
Released Parties reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to disqualify any individual found, in their sole discretion, to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or web site; to be in violation of Terms of Service of web site, to be acting in violation of Official Rules; or to be acting in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Any use of robotic, automatic, macro, programmed or like entry methods will void all such entries by such methods, & any participant using any such method will be disqualified. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an entrant entering via the methods set forth above, the authorized account email address used to enter, if applicable, will be deemed to be the entrant. "Authorized Account Holder" of an email address will be deemed to be the natural person who is assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization which is responsible for assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address. Sponsor will seek to have any fraudulent activities prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Released Parties are not responsible for (i) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by web site users, or tampering or hacking, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in Sweepstakes; or (ii) injury or damage to participants' or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in Sweepstakes or downloading materials from or use of the web site. If, for any reason, Sweepstakes, or any part thereof, is not capable of running as planned by reason of infection by computer virus, worms, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which, in the sole opinion of Sponsor, could corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend Sweepstakes & select winners from all non-suspect, eligible entries received prior to the action taken, or as otherwise deemed fair & appropriate by Sponsor.
